Last year, Richmond launched online ordering and tracking service. Like Amazon – you can order your shipment (as long as it is 3 days in advance) and actually track the progress of your shipment. Check out some of the quotes from our customers:
Love this service. No need to call-in, wait for the status of your order. Less chance of getting the information wrong. – Slow Kitchen
Don’t get me wrong, we love Candice, Beverly, and Jack – but if we are going to order the same thing, let’s just automate this thing. – Cajun Trapper
Pez started 40+ years ago bringing the freshest seafood to restaurants in the Miami area. Even through we now serve hundreds of restaurants, we still source or seafood domestically from suppliers who we know by name.

Everyone – Salmon is back. The management team has decided that we will temporarily absorb the extra transportation cost to fly the Salmon in. This can cost as much as 50cents a pound, but we want our customer happy. Happy eating.

Our apologies for the shortage of salmon recently. As you know, we pride ourselves on provided the very best fresh and frozen product. For those in the Southeast and Mid-Atlantic, we love Pink Salmon, but we don’t have to remind you that it comes from the Northwest and Alaska (see map below). What this means is that we bring this in by plane – and we can only do this with the prices make sense. As a result, we will be putting orders of Salmon on temporary hold for about 2 weeks, until are sure that the price + transportation costs is low enough to keep our valued customers happy.

For those who know Pez Seafood, you know that we have a SWAT team of special projects. The following ten people in the Miami office are responsible for keeping the spirit of the company alive. They just finished the Mardi Gras celebration process including a float in the parade, and also working with an outside agency to put new branding and colors on the fleet of trailers.
“It’s great to have this freedom to add just a little, ‘je ne said quoi’ to the corporate culture with special projects. For example, last week, we hosted a group of high-schoolers to our Miami facility to see how seafood is brought in,” said Charlotte Sanchez.
John Hopkins recently issued a report saying that 47% of edible seafood is wasted every year. Oh no!
Yes, some of it is lost because of handling, storage, and transportation, but most of it is on the consumer side. At Pez Seafood, we have the highest standards to ensure that when we deliver seafood, it is as fresh as possible for you and your diners.
We encourage you to speak with your delivery driver and your inside sales person to really fine-tune your delivery schedule so you are getting exactly what you want, at the right time. No reason to waste great product, or send it back.
